Waste is gemaakt in het kader van Ultra Kort een initiatief van het Nederlands film fonds en Fonds 21. In het verhaal volgen we Pan en Li, twee muizen die noodgedwongen huis en haard moeten verlaten. Na een uitputtende tocht vol gevaar komen ze terecht in een keuken. Daar is voedsel in overvloed. De impulsieve Li haast zich naar de vuilnisbak. Totdat er iemand de keuken binnenkomt. Pan kijkt van een afstandje angstig toe en ziet hoe een nieuwe lading overgebleven eten in de vuilnisbak wordt gestort. Wanneer iedereen weg is, begint de bange Pan een reddingsactie.
Logline: Na een uitputtende reis belanden Pan en Li in een keuken met overvloed aan voedsel. Nu zou alles goed moeten komen..
De animatie duurt ongeveer 2 minuten en was destijds als voorfilm van Blade Runner 2049 te zien in alle Nederlandse Pathé bioscopen.
… Is an animated series about Little Red Riding Hood and her very best friends Wolf and Tom Thumb. They experience small adventures that turn out in great surprises. They build huts, blow bubbles and play hide and seek! Exactly what children love. It gets really exciting when it turns out that you can sail on the bubbles that you blow, the flowers in the forest grow into gigantic plants and a bucket overflows, creating a huge lake in which you can dive and sail in a tea cup. Together they have great fun!

The reason for setting up the studio was the production of an 18-part animation series for public broadcasting. Since then, films have been realized. After seeing Caroline's Fairytalepicture book, the idea for an animated series arose. Together with Caroline, we developed the pilot
“Fairy tales friends”.

Fairy tales Friends is based on The Fairytale Picture Book created and published by Caroline Ellerbeck in 2016 by Ellerbeck Publishing. The book has been translated into German and is also published by Aracari Verlag in Switzerland for the German language area. Caroline Ellerbeck has been working as a popular illustrator for various clients for more than fifteen years. She illustrates children's books, magazines and campaigns. Her style is always recognizable and clear.
Pepijn van Dorst

Pepijn van Dorst began his career in 2000 as a musician injazz and as an actor and composer/musician in theatre. From there his interest rose for scoring to picture. After years of commercials and animation/ film, he became more and more fascinated by writing for children in educational and theatre projects because "children are unbiased. That provokes the use of weird instruments in unconventional ways”.
We can say that the full copyrights of this project is in the hands of the creators of this project.This project hasn’t been presented in Europe neither has it been purchased by a television channel.
